My Love, My Woman

My love, my woman

my lady, my queen,

thru the eyes of my heart

you always will gleam.

As the waves of the oceans

touch the hulls of it’s ships,

I long to have and to hold you

and to kiss your sweet lips.

The warmth of your breath

and the touch of your skin,

the very absence of it all

seems like a sin.

The fullness of your body

the softness of your hair,

the old echo of my mind

“Where are you out there?”
