My Sweet Scottish Princess

My dear sweet lady

my Scottish Princess shy,

thanks for sharing

that twinkle in your eye.

So many feelings

some familiar others old,

finding myself drifting

easily in from the cold.

It started with a call

coming later than sooner,

now I'm finding myself

acting like a teenage crooner.

I vowed to go slow

not gamble my heart,

now I find myself melting

from my toes to my heart.

I don't know where

she was hiding for so long,

but she's here right now

my heart is singing a song.

A wee bit of Scot

a whole lot of emotion,

she's an amazing spirit

of joy with hardly a notion.

Some times so glowing

I want to call her Tinker,

but somehow I suspect

she can be a little stinker.

A little bit shy and

often seen with face red,

but my Gawd how special

and yes I'm saying it...in bed.

I've found myself thinking

how can I make her more happy,

then my memory drifts

I'm a softy going sappy.

Her soft tender smile

lights up my night,

and her simplest giggle

sends me scrambling with delight.

The softness of her skin

as it touches mine,

the melding of two souls

the stopping of all time.

From time to time

we're each given a gift,

I believe I've again been blessed

as my soul feels a lift.

So take my hand

and trust in fate,

as I've found so often

it's never too late.

Where it will go

only a fool would venture,

lets just take it slowly

as we start this new adventure.

Always remember this

I want you as my friend,

and we'll share what we can

from this start to the end.
