Two souls together

like candles in the night,

each separate in entity

yet total in light.

Fingers entwined

eyes caressing each other,

searching for love

not wanting to smother.

Maybe even advancing

with a butterfly kiss,

a flick of a tongue

searching that and this.

Small involuntary shivers

followed by a wiggle,

yes a good thing

that cute little giggle.

Oh the pure joy

of giving in the night,

freeing of ones self

like birds in flight.

The soft rush of cloth

drifting to the floor,

exposure of warm skin

a yearning for more.

The Yin and the Yang

the him and the her,

a merging of two

time now a blur.

Now side by side

touching head to toe,

heartbeats increasing

things starting to flow.

Almost a rebirth

like a morning shower,

slow intense blooming

of a lovely flower.

Life’s lonely dancers

lit only by the stars,

working on impulse

not wanting dark scars.

Two souls together

like candles in the night,

each separate in entity

yet total in light.

Yes sometimes you have to let them mature in your mind past puberty... LOL

Two people in life

growing weary and cold,

giving up lost dreams

to gracefully grow old.

They’ve laughed and cried

given it their all,

this bent over couple

who once stood tall.

Guided by their parents

from birth thru school,

always given the advice

don’t be anyone’s fool.

Both held and kissed

shown love and caring,

sampled faith and trust

traveling life with daring.

Alone and drifting

they found each other,

a creating of family

forming sister and brother.

Together they built

using visions and dreams,

resisting the odds

and those with schemes.

Years have gone by

and the children departed,

alone and drifting

right back to where they started.

Their trip has been made

both wiser but old,

two people in life

growing weary and cold.

A weekend in heaven

both enjoyed and blissed,

today is Monday…

my God, how she’s missed.

Babbling with happiness

I called on the phone,

speaking words so foreign

feeling lost and alone.

What’s become of me

Filled with anxiety and doubt,

faltering and confused

I feel I must shout.
